I will be serving in Jerusalem, Israel, from July 2017 – July 2018 as a part of the Zealous Israel Project (Z3). Z3 is a year-long, servant-based discipleship program for young adults through the non-profit Bridges for Peace (BFP). The vision of Bridges for Peace is “Christians supporting Israel and building relationships between Christians and Jews in Israel and around the world.” BFP does this through various ministries, including their food bank serving over 25,000 Jews every month, Project Hope, which helps Jews outside Israel immigrate to Israel, and Project Tikvah, which supports Jews in the Soviet Union who cannot immigrate (many of whom are Holocaust survivors).
Since returning in 2015 from the Zealous8:2 Call To Zion Tour, a two-week tour of Israel for young adults, my heart has become passionate about the people and land of Israel. I have slowly felt more and more that the Lord was calling me to return to serve in the land. In February 2017 I applied to join the third-year of the Zealous Israel Project, and was accepted into the program in April 2017.
Over the next year, I will be working in the BFP International Headquarters in Jerusalem, serving in the publications department. I will specifically be working on graphic design and layout for their various publications, including Dispatch from Jerusalem and the monthly Israel Teaching Letter.
To serve as a part of Z3, I need to raise financial support. Would you please consider supporting me financially through a one-time gift or recurring monthly support? You can choose to support my tuition cost or personal support. The graphic below explains how to donate. I have included clickable links below the graphic, as well as a description of tuition vs. personal support.
One-Time Gifts go to support my tuition payment. I am seeking to raise $6500 by July 1, 2017, prior to moving to Israel. Tuition cost includes housing, weekly grocery budget, program materials, and monthly excursions around the country.
Gifts for tuition can be made by calling BFP USA or by sending a check or money order to BFP USA (see number and address above).
Personal Support can be made recurring every month or set as one-time gifts. Personal support will be used for personal hygiene, student loan payments, additional food, excursions not included in the program, and flight costs. I am seeking to raise $800 – $1,000 a month. Personal support is imperative to my ability to participate in the program! Please consider supporting me on a recurring, monthly basis! Recurring gifts would be a year-long commitment from July 2017 – July 2018 and can be as big or small as you would like.
One-time gifts for personal support can be made via PayPal here. Recurring monthly support can be made by calling BFP USA or by sending a check or money order to BFP USA (see number and address above).
